In Texas, where publicly funded gun buybacks are banned, volunteers and police destroy unwanted firearms one weapon at a time. Intercut with Australia’s 1996 national gun amnesty, the film traces the strange rituals, political battles, and private decisions that determine whether a weapon can disappear.
